Intramuros, Manila – DTI Secretary Ramon M. Lopez attends the opening of the Museum of Destileria Limtuaco, the oldest distillery in the Philippines, which was established in 1852.
In his opening speech, Sec. Lopez shares to the audience the importance of this landmark event. The museum presents to the public the importance of entrepreneurship, where small economic players can grow and become successful through perseverance, hardwork, and dedication. The story of the distillery should serve as an inspiration for all Filipinos, especially for MSMEs that continue to learn from and grow with their business.
Sec. Lopez also reiterates the importance of the event as Destileria Limtuaco & Co. contributes to President Rodrigo R. Duterte’s goal of providing more jobs to Filipinos. He hopes that more entrepreneurs will follow such path as the success of local Filipino companies become the success of the country as a whole.♦
