Special Price and Supply Monitoring Activities of Basic and Prime Products in Antipolo, Rizal

Department of Trade and Industry – Consumer Protection Group’s (CPG) Undersecretary Ruth B. Castelo led the price and supply monitoring activities of basic necessities and prime commodities (BNPC) last 21 March 2018 in Cogeo, Antipolo City. A supermarket was issued a Show Cause Order (SCO) for having two (2) different prices on some products seen on the shelf and on the price verification machine, which is a violation of the Republic Act 7304 on the price tag provision.
