DTI Rizal Distributes Livelihood Kits to Affected MSMEs in Morong, Rizal
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal in cooperation with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Morong, distributed livelihood kits to Sari-sari Store Owners in Morong Rizal, last September 18, 2020 Friday at Audio-Visual Room, Municipal Building, San Pedro, Morong, Rizal.
A total of 24 micro enterprises (MEs) from Barangays of Lagundi, Caniogan-Calero-Lanang, Maybancal, San Pedro, San Juan, San Jose, San Guillermo and Bombongan received Php 5,000.00 worth of Sari-sari Store livelihood Kit under the DTI’s Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB). This LSP-NSB program aims to provide assistance to qualified affected individuals that could aid, restore and improve their respective businesses in cushioning the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The chosen beneficiaries, before the awarding underwent an orientation on LSP-NSB at Negosyo Center Morong. With due observance of social distancing policy and other preventive health measures, the orientation had 4 separate sessions held on September 15-16, 2020.
The Awarding of NSB Sari-sari Store Livelihood Kits was graced by DTI Regional Director Marilou Toledo, DTI Rizal Provincial Director Mercy Parreño, Mayor Olivia De Leon and Vice Mayor Julian Joseph De Ungria.♦
