DTI Rizal hosts successful webinar on costing and pricing for non-food
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Rizal Provincial Office, through the Negosyo Center Jalajala, successfully hosted the Creative Industry Module of the Collaborative Harnessing and Mentoring for MSMEs in Rizal or CHAMPS Project Season 5 on August 28, 2024. The engaging webinar titled Costing and Pricing for Non-Food, was conducted via Zoom and streamed live on Facebook, offering valuable insights to entrepreneurs.
The webinar commenced with a warm welcome from the DTI Rizal Business Development Division Chief Ms. Sharon Dioco, who set a positive and encouraging tone for the session. She emphasized the importance of mastering costing and pricing strategies as essential components of business success
The highlight of the event was the presentation by Mr. Leandro M. Lontok, CPA and founder and partner of CLTA and Co. Known for his extensive expertise in financial management, Mr. Lontok delivered an in-depth discussion on practical approaches to costing and pricing, tailored specifically for non-food sectors within the creative industry. His presentation covered essential techniques for calculating costs, setting competitive prices, and managing financial operations effectively.


Mr. Lontok’s session was marked by interactive discussions providing attendees with actionable insights and practical advice. His expertise was well-received by participants, who actively engaged with the content and posed insightful questions.
The CHAMPS Project is serves as a localized remote mentoring program designed specifically for micro entrepreneurs, which objective is to aid micro entrepreneurs in preparing for more comprehensive DTI Programs such as KMME and OTOP NG. ♦
