DTI-Laguna provides orientation to Calamba MSMEs on how to participate in trade fairs

The Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office, through the Negosyo Centers Cabuyao City and Calamba City and in collaboration with the Calamba City Cooperatives and Livelihood Development, hosted an orientation tackling effective participation in trade fairs on August 2, 2024.

The discussion was led by DTI-Laguna Business Counsellors Marian O. Calongcalong Alma R. Arenal. Aside from tips on how to participate in trade fairs effectively, the participants were provided with consumer education including the basic rights and responsibilities of a consumer. Moreover, the participants composed of potential and existing microentrepreneurs actively exchanged insights and ideas and were able to gain common dos and donts/guidelines in participating trade fair and enhancing consumer education.

This initiative is part of the training series of the Calamba City Cooperatives and Livelihood Development. (MOCalongcalong, DTI-Laguna). ♦
