DTI-Laguna on empowering entrepreneurs: A Guide in starting a business
Paete, Laguna — On November 04, 2024, the Laguna Provincial Office of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI-Laguna) through Negosyo Center Siniloan, together with Montessori Integrated School, conducted a seminar titled “Empowering Entrepreneurs: A Guide in Starting a Business”. It was held at the Bulwagang Direk Frank G. Rivera in the Municipality of Paete.
The seminar was curated by the Montessori Integrated School and DTI-Laguna and has brought together aspiring entrepreneurs who are passionate about knowing how to start a business and having an entrepreneurial mindset.
Business Counsellor Mr. Kim Carlo O. Palacio of Negosyo Center Siniloan served as the speaker for the event. The seminar focused on the overview of business name registration and its evaluation and requirements followed by entrepreneurial mind-setting. The activity emphasized the regulatory requirements in business and the guidelines on registering a business name.
The session also highlighted what kind of thinking a person must have to enable them to make the most out of opportunities and succeed in their entrepreneurial journey. Overall, the participants were imparted with essential knowledge and skills necessary in business and entrepreneurship. Through the engaging presentations and interactive sessions, the grade 11 and 12 students were treated to a day filled with insightful understanding on entrepreneurial skills, mindset and the regulatory on business.
The activity settled with inquiry session letting participants to find amplifications and convey questions related to the discoursed subjects. This activity is part of the continuous commitment of DTI-Laguna to provide business and consumer information to potential and existing entrepreneurs in Laguna. ♦
