Bountiful Trades and Bright Futures!: the FIESTA HARAYA: Likha at Husay Assessment
Antipolo City, 30 January, 2025—50 participants composed of MSMEs from the food and non-food sectors, along with representatives from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal, gathered to reflect on the success of the FIESTA HARAYA: LIKHA at HUSAY event held last year in the Province of Cavite.
With the guidance of Business Development Division Chief Ms. Sharon F. Dioco together with her team Senior Trade-Industry Development Specialist Marlene De Luna, Trade-Industry Development Specialist Jonalyn Adaya and Business Counselor John Francis Sta. Rita, the post-event gathering provided a platform for participants to share their experiences and provide feedback on FIESTA HARAYA.
The attendees expressed positive sentiments which highlighted the event’s value to their businesses. One of which is expressing their strong support for holding another FIESTA HARAYA this 2025. Another key suggestion is the early announcement of the event’s dates and venue for MSME development which will provide them with the necessary lead time to produce sufficient stock, plan their logistics, and effectively showcase their products at the trade fairs. Lasty, to ensure inclusive growth and broader MSME participation, several participants suggested rotating the event venue within the CALABARZON region, allowing different provinces to host and showcase their local MSME products and services.
The event concluded with a warm message from the DTI Rizal Provincial Director Ms. Cleotilde M. Duran. ♦
