RDC 02 Endorses 235 Road Projects under ROLL IT for FY 2019

The Regional Development Council (RDC) Region 02 – Executive Committee, through a Referendum, endorsed a total of 235 road projects for FY 2019 under the Roads Leveraging Linkages for Industry and Trade (ROLL IT) amounting to over PhP23.6 Billion and with total length of 1,155.99 kilometers. 

Prior to their endorsement by the RDC, the road project proposals were reviewed by the regional Technical Working Group (RTWG), composed of DTI, DPWH, NEDA and the PCCI- Region 02 and Cagayan Chapter as to the completeness of the pre-qualification documentary requirements.

 These proposals were also forwarded to the Central Technical Working Group (CTWG) of the DTI-Board of Investments and DPWH Central Office for further review, validation, consolidation and programming. Those that meet the criteria in the order of priority ranking will be included in the Annual DTI-DPWH Convergence Program to be approved by the Program Champions, DTI and DPWH for inclusion in FY 2019 budget.
