Price Monitoring in Makati City

DTI Secretary Ramon M. Lopez conducted a surprise price monitoring at San Roque Supermarket Comembo and Unimec Comembo in Makati City as part of the Department’s intensified drive to ensure price stability for basic necessities and prime commodities (BNPCs). This is in line with the President’s instruction to DTI to increase visibility and intensify monitoring on establishments that are taking advantage of consumers.
Accompanying Sec. Lopez were Undersecretary Rowel Barba, Assistant Secretary Ernesto Perez and officials from the Department’s Consumer Protection Group.♦
