DTI releases BuB fund to LGU Allacapan
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Cagayan Division Chief Mr. Winston Singun and Municipal Trade Industry Officer (MTIO) Ms. Marivic Calvo handed the BuB Check worth Php. 500,000.00 to Allacapan Mayor Harry Florida on August 17, 2016.
The released BuB fund will be used for the product enhancement and to increase the livelihood opportunities in Allacapan particularly for coconut and banana processing.
According to Mayor Florida, these livelihood opportunities could help the people of the town especially those who have the ability and talents to earn extra income.
“Municipal Tourism Council will be in-charge of promoting and introducing the town’s products to other municipalities”, he added.
DC Singun said DTI will continue its efforts in providing services and assistances to our MSMEs.
