R2 NCBCs join celebration of the establishment of 1000th Negosyo Center

The Department of Trade and Industry – Region 2 (DTI-2) Negosyo Center Business Counsellors (NCBC) joined the countrywide simultaneous celebration of the establishment of the 1000th Negosyo Center (NC) in the country.

To celebrate this milestone, NCBCs all over the region conducted advocacy activities from November 26-29, 2018. On their part, DTI-Cagayan NC, through Atty. Ma. Liza Guzman and JBC Corazon Cipriano, guested on DWPE Radyo ng Bayan Tuguegarao to discuss the various NC services.

On 26November 2018, Atty Guzman and Ms. Cipriano discussed RA 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018. The following day, on 27November 2018, Ms. Desiree Angolluan and Atty. Guzman advocated the Marketing PAPs of DTI, such as the conduct of National Trade Fair, National Food Fair, Manila Fame, Go Lokal, OTOP Hub, establishment of Pasalubong Centers, mounting of local and municipal fairs and other marketing programs.
The Pondo Para sa Pagbabago (P3) Program was discussed on the 3rd day by Ms. Cipriano together with Mr. Bernie Patingga, Branch Manager of Massisit Dacal Livelihood Cooperative (MASCOOP) Tuguegarao City, and Ms. Fely Jean Pacris, Chief/Marketing Division of MASCOOP Sanchez Mira.

Meanwhile, on 29 November, two women entrepreneurs, Ms. Emma Battung of Alcala Women’s RIC MPC and Ms. Francisca Rimalos of Fredelina’s Food Products, Gonzaga, Cagayan shared their success stories.

The Program Host during the four-day radio guesting was Station Manager Sany Lopez.

The 1000th Negosyo Center was established in Tagaytay City on 29 November 2018.
