DTI conducts the 8th Standards Essay-Writing Contest
With the theme “Standards in the Revolution of Digital Technologies”, the Department of Trade and Industry-Consumer Protection Group’s (DTI-CPG) Bureau of Philippine Standards (BPS), conducted the 8th Standards’ Essay-Writing contest in celebration of the 49th World Standards Day and the 44th National Standards Week with the cooperation of the Department of Education-National Capital Region and ABSCBN Broadcasting Corporation’s DZMM.
Held last 08 October 2018 at the Philippine Trade Trading Center, Pasay City, 23 high school students from NCR (Caloocan, Las Piñas, Makati, Malabon, Mandaluyong, Manila, Marikina, Navotas, Parañaque, Pasay, Pasig, San Juan, Taguig-Pateros and Valenzuela) participated in the contest. The winners will be announced and awarded in the Konsyumer Atbp. (KATBP), DTI’s consumer education broadcast program, in partnership with ABSCBN’s DZMM, on 20 October 2018.
